At the conclusion of a spirit-filled service, an individual yet to be identified stole the benevolent offering which was in an envelope in a Deacon's Holy Bible at the front of the church during the Holy Communion! It happened in the front of the church in front of everyone, yet nobody saw. How horrible!

Sorry to see the resources of our community, diverted into the hand of a selfish person. The African American Church has a long history of benevolence to our people in our hour of need.
I'm quite sure this same individual could have asked the community for assistance and the community would have aided.
I know of a surety that First Morning Star Baptist Church has done a lot for people trying to put their lives back in order after a bout of incarceration or chemical dependency. I also know of a feed the people program going on at the FMSBC also. I surely hope any and all assistance we can give to FMSBC will be appreciated, especially in this time of economic turmoil
